About Us

What We Believe

At New Life Seventh Day Adventist Church, our faith is anchored in the Holy Scriptures, and we hold firm to a set of beliefs that shape our understanding of God's plan for humanity:

  1. The Bible as God's Inspired Word: We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It serves as our ultimate guide for faith and practice, revealing God's character, His love for humanity, and the path to salvation.

  2. The Triune God: We worship one God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. These divine beings work together in unity, revealing God's multifaceted nature and His involvement in our lives.

  3. Salvation through Grace: We affirm that salvation is a gift of God's grace, not earned through human efforts. It comes through faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, accepting His sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.

  4. The Sabbath: We observe the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday) as a day of rest, worship, and spiritual renewal. This practice not only honors the Fourth Commandment but also provides a weekly opportunity for reflection and communion with God.

  5. The Second Coming of Christ: We eagerly anticipate the return of Jesus Christ, just as He promised. His second coming will mark the ultimate fulfillment of God's plan, bringing an end to sin and establishing God's eternal kingdom of righteousness.

  6. The Sanctuary and Investigative Judgment: We believe in the concept of the heavenly sanctuary, where Jesus serves as our High Priest, interceding on behalf of believers. The Investigative Judgment is a heavenly review of the lives of all individuals, determining their readiness for Christ's return.

  7. The Health Message: We promote a holistic approach to health, recognizing that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. We emphasize a plant-based diet, regular exercise, and the avoidance of harmful substances to maintain physical and spiritual well-being.

  8. Baptism by Immersion: We practice baptism by immersion as a public declaration of one's faith in Christ and commitment to a new life in Him. It symbolizes the washing away of sins and the emergence of a new creation.

  9. The Great Commission: We are called to share the gospel message with the world, following Jesus' command to make disciples of all nations. We engage in various forms of evangelism and outreach to fulfill this mission.

  10. The Importance of Education: We recognize the value of education in developing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. We operate a network of educational institutions worldwide, including schools, colleges, and universities.

These beliefs are the foundation of our faith, guiding our actions, decisions, and interactions as a Christian community. We invite you to explore these principles with us as we journey together in faith and service to God and humanity.
